There is less than one week left to submit your photos for the Cozy Winter Dinner Contest! Remember that the three people with the best photos of their dinner will win a brand new Olympus 1030SW camera - so please post your photos if you haven’t already.

There have been some questions about the Coq au Vin dish - we have adapted the traditional Coq au Vin recipe and modernized it. In terms of using a supermarket-bought bird vs. an older bird - the difference is most supermarket birds are bred by exact standards and are more tender than the old birds.The long, slow cooking process helps the chicken fully absorb all of the flavors from the wine (we recommend using rhone style reds) and vegetables. The braise was kept at a constant temperature of 190 degrees.
